I've been to Shanghai many times and have seen what there is to see. On this business trip I had a day to do something different. I decided to book with Shanghai Private Tour because of the fast response. I decided I wanted to spend the day at Suzhou rather than being in a car for hours getting there. Although it was not inexpensive I picked the private day trip via high speed train. It took about 25 minutes from Shanghai to Suzhou. Johnny picked me up from my hotel right on time and off we went to the train station. He was very pleasant and shared lots of information about the history, traditions, and the life of people in these towns. His English was superb. Not to mention, I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. We had a great lunch at an authentic restaurant. The fish dish I had was spicy....like numb your mouth spicy. It was great! I visited PANGate, Master Net Garden, lunch on Peingjing Road. We wandered around this road and then walked the beautiful canal area. I would recommend anyone visiting Shanghai to do this tour (and the Gondola ride) !..Shanghai Private Tour and Jonny are the BEST!
