Really excellent tour conducted by the very knowledgeable and personable, Penny.
She guided us through areas and sights that we would never have located ourselves, all with good humour.
Highly recommended ??????
Our tour guide, Simon is very informative, accomadating and helpful. Specially to my mother who is on a wheelchair. The tour was great. We ate delicious local chinese dumplings & noodles. We visited historical and modern places that Shanghai is known for. He even took pictures and sent them to us. It was a memorable experience.
Ps. We also have a very professional driver and felt safe during our trip. Highly recommend Shanghai Private Tour ans guide Simon.
We have just come back from a short weekend trip to Shanghai. It was our first visit to the city and we had no idea what to see especially as we were only there for two days. We booked this tour with Shanghai Private Tour based on reviews and I have to say that we were not disappointed. I feel that we have left with a good overview of what the city has to offer its tourists.
I cannot thank our guide Alex enough. To sum it up he was great - incredibly personable, knowledgable and great with my 8 year old daughter - we were a party of 3 adults and one child and all of us genuinely enjoyed the day and were not too overloaded with information or travel. Alex pitched it completely right. Thank you.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with Penny as our guide. Penny knows her city well and her English is excellent. She shared so many interesting facts with us about the city and the Chinese people. Mary guided us through a typical Shanghai dumpling meal and introduced us to a number of dishes. It was her goal to make our trip to shanghai exactly as we wanted and she was extremely flexible. When I needed a rest she always knew a comfortable place to have a break. She was an asset when we shopped as well. Our driver was great throughout the tour. He dropped us off nearby our sightseeing and picked us up promptly when we were done. I highly recommend Shanghai Private Tour and be sure to ask for Mary to have a memorable experience.
Booked a tour with Shanghai Private Tour for a personalized two days in Shanghai and from day one to the day of the tour were completely worry free! From day one, Bonnie was incredibly responsive and answered all my questions with ease. Leading up to the day of the tour, I met with Simon for a solo visit and he was so incredibly personal. He kept the same energy throughout the whole day and never showed and ounce of tiredness. Not only that but he was incredibly informative and went above and beyond his role to help me. HIGHLY recommend Shanghai Private Tour and guide Simon
The tour was great for first timer in Shanghai. Our tour guide, Mr. David was doing a great job. He is knowledgeable, professional and friendly, with a great sense of humour. He understood our preferences and tailored the tour accordingly. The view from SWFC was really breathtaking. Yu Garden was great but avoid high seasons period otherwise will be even more crowd and the place is not really huge to cater too many people. I have visited Shanghai before but only this time taking the tour and it was great. We would recommend David to any friends visiting Shanghai.
We explored Shanghai city as a family group with the lovely tour guide Nancy. Literally, Nancy made our tour today unforgettable and enjoyable too, she is really good in communication with the visitors by exchanging helpful information about a specific places. Also, she is so friendly and flexible in selecting places you want to visit the most. We had visit local places which are cool, special and unique where the majority of international visitors won’t know about it. Thank you Shanghai Private Tour for the awesome tour and looking forward to enjoy the next trip.
