Your lunch is arranged at local restaurant with tasting local cuisine. Such as Liangpi, it is made from rice, this cold noodle dish is a summer favourite through Shaanxi province as well as other places around China. These rice noodles are covered with vinegar, chili, salt, garlic, bean sprouts and small lumps of tofu.Roujiamo, this is the Chinese hamburger. Basically it’s a small oven baked bread bun that is sliced open and filled with slowly braised shredded pork and small pieces of fat. I personally prefer to ask for the ‘Chun Shou Rou Jia Mo’ which is the same thing only this time they use lean meat and it’ll probably only cost you about one or two yuan more. Clearly this is one dish you can’t buy at Muslim street. It will be a Sample but typical and local.

Continue your tour to Bell Tower, which located in south east of the Drum Tower. In Chinese history from Ming Dynasty, each city had a bell tower and a drum tower. The bell was sounded at dawn and the drum at dusk each day in ancient time, a means of telling time. Xian was not exception. The Bell Tower and Drum Tower of Xi'an date back to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The two are located in the center of the Xian city connecting the four roads from east, south, west and north within the city wall. Atop the Bell Tower you will have a panoramic view of the Xian City. A number of highlighted cultural relics are exhibited in Xi'an Bell Tower, including a huge bell, inscribed steles and couplets hung on the column, all of which are of high historical and cultural values. Between the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower, there is a square with grass, dotted with greenbelt beautiful acouto-optic fountain, which is a good place for leisure and entertainment for citizens.

Today, you will have a lunch at Xian Fanzhuang. This time-honored restaurant should be your ideal choice to enjoy authentic Shaanxi food. Not only for Xi'an cuisine but also serve some typical local snacks.

The last stop is Muslim Quarter. The Muslim Quarter is the largest of the old city's neighborhoods. It's a confusing array of narrow alleys that are wonderful to wander in, get lost, and stumble upon surprising discoveries. Muslim Quarter houses a large number of important Christian institutions. The Muslim quarter begins at the northern city wall, goes south to the northern and western walls of the Temple Mount, to Hashalshelet Street, where the Jewish Quarter begins. To the West, it runs to Beit Chabad Street, which runs between it and the Christian Quarter.

Muslim_Quarter.jpgMuslim_Quarter_1.jpg

The eye-dizzying snack variety can give a great workout to your eyes, taste buds and stomach: delicately-wrinkled juicy steamed dumplings, yummy lamb sandwiches, sleek grilled mutton, crumbs in mutton broth, stuffed persimmon cakes, dried fruit and nuts, etc.

Overall it's an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, this journey was marked by prompt and attentive responses from the YouWayHoliday team, making the planning process seamless and stress-free.

The highlight of this tour was undoubtedly the high-speed train travel. The efficiency and comfort of China's high-speed trains left me thoroughly impressed. They are exceptionally fast, whisking us from one city to another in no time. The trains were also impeccably clean, ensuring a pleasant and hygienic travel experience throughout the journey.

But what truly stole the show were the breathtaking landscapes and the rich history and culture of China. As a tourist, I was captivated by the stunning natural beauty that unfolded outside my window as the train traversed the countryside. From the serene landscapes around Shanghai to the majestic views near Xian, and finally, the iconic Great Wall of China on our way to Beijing, every moment was a picturesque delight.

Moreover, the profound historical and cultural immersion during this trip was awe-inspiring. Exploring the Terracotta Army in Xian and walking through the ancient hutongs of Beijing made me appreciate China's rich history and heritage on a whole new level. The local guides provided by YouWayHoliday were knowledgeable and passionate about sharing their insights, adding an enriching layer to our journey.

In conclusion, this 7-day high-speed train tour with YouWayHoliday was nothing short of incredible. The timely responses, the convenience of high-speed rail, and the opportunity to witness China's mesmerizing landscapes and rich cultural tapestry made this trip an experience of a lifetime. I cannot recommend YouWayHoliday enough for their exceptional service and the chance to explore China in such a unique and captivating way. Thank you for creating memories that will last a lifetime!

I recently went on a family trip to China and used China Private Tours to organize our itinerary. Bonnie, our agent, was extremely helpful and responsive, making the booking process very easy.

All of our guides were fantastic, providing great recommendations for local food and being very professional and accommodating throughout our trip. The drivers were also very experienced and kept their cars very clean, ensuring our safety and comfort.

I want to give special recognition to three of our guides who really stood out. First, Sarah in Xi'an helped us tremendously when one of our friends had to return home due to a family emergency. She was able to arrange a flight for him that same evening, which was a huge relief for all of us.

Second, Lucy in Beijing was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. She arranged a birthday cake for my friend, which was a very nice surprise and made her feel very special.

Finally, Lily in Shanghai was a lot of fun and shared many interesting stories about growing up in the city. She was also very organized and considerate, making sure we got the best photo opportunities at all the sights we visited.

Overall, I would highly recommend China Private Tours for anyone planning a trip to China. The service and attention to detail were excellent, and we had a wonderful time thanks to the great work of Bonnie and her team.

Hello, I’m really hoping you have a trip starting on April 22nd, 23rd, or 24th that you can squeeze me on. I’m a solo traveler and I’d bought a tour through intrepid, but they canceled the tour on me and my flight (purchased separately) was non-refundable. I fly to Shanghai on April 22, 2023 and leave Beijing on April 30. I already have my visa and passport and I’m in good health and easy to work with.

Replied:11 March 2023

Dear Allison Loomis,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we do not have a group tour available on the dates you mentioned (April 22nd, 23rd, or 24th) due to the low number of tourists during that period.

We are sorry to hear that your previously booked tour with Intrepid was canceled and understand how frustrating it must be to have a non-refundable flight. While we cannot accommodate you on a group tour, we would be happy to explore other options with you, such as arranging a private tour or recommending other activities to enjoy during your stay in China.

Please let us know if you would be interested in discussing these options further or if you have any other questions.

Thank you for considering us, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Bonnie has done a tremendous job in organizing my family's trip to China visiting Shanghai Beijing and Xian. She has been very prompt with her responses and has gone above and beyond to tailor our tour to suit our needs. It's made the online booking process so much easier for me. All the guides have given us good suggestions on where to eat and what local delicacies to try. We are happy with all the meals we had. All the guides were very professional and obliging.

All the guides could converse in English well. The drivers were very experienced and most diligent in maintaining the cleanliness of their cars. Thanks to them, we were able to ride safely and comfortably throughout the journey. (1)Tracy at Xi'an. On our 2nd day in Xi'an, one of our friends could not continue his trip and had to return home immediately due to an urgent family matter. Our tour guide, Tracy, was exceedingly helpful in arranging for my friend to return home at the earliest possible time. Thanks to her initiatives and coordination, my friend flew home on the same evening. At the same time, the rest of us could continue our journey without much disruptions. (2) Linda at Beijing. Linda was always thoughtful and attentive to our needs throughout the 3 days we spent together. She surprised us by arranging a cake for my friend, Louise, as soon as she knew it was her birtrhday on 22 Dec. We were very touched by her kind gesture (and that of the agency) and it meant so much to us that our dear friend's birthday was celebrated as a "grand affair" even when we are so far away from home. (3) Li Xia at Shanghai. Li Xia was absolutely fun to be with. She was more like a friend than a tour guide to us, not only briefing us on the background and history of places we visit but also sharing her experience growing up in Shanghai and working as a tour guide. Whenever the bus ride was long, she would keep us occupied by pointing out interesting sites along the way so that we would not feel bored. Her organisational skills were excellent as she could accomodate our various requests most of the time and she was especially considerate with our photography requirements, finding us the most scenic spots for the best photographs. Thank you very much to you and your colleagues for the wonderful arrangements.

I would highly recommend China Private Tours.
