I booked a day tour from Shanghai to Hangzhou with Shanghai Private Tour and am very satified. The team were quick and flexible with their responses and co-ordinated hotel pickup, train tickets, transportation and lunch, etc very well. It was my first trip to Hangzhou and I enjoyed it very much.

David was my guide on this private tour. He was a good storyteller and super efficient. This is something I greatly appreciated-besides being on a short time budget in Hangzhou, it was super cold that day. I very much appreciated not having to wait for the car during pickup drop off at all sites. Lunch was at a local tea famer house with authentic Hangzhou food, which was the best food I've had in China so far. Overall a great tour experience. Highly recommended.

Sharon was our tour guide. She did an excellent job showing us around. The lunch was excellent at a tea house. Her English is excellent and she is very knowledgeable! We would like to thank all the staff at China Private Tour, our guide and driver, as without your highly professional attitudes and wonderful suggestions we would not have enjoyed our trip to hangzhou from shanghai as much as we did. We trust your company implicitly and we look forward to using your company again.

We had a very spontaneous trip with no plan and our guide Alex was able to show us the must see sites in HangZhou such as the West Lake, the temple, Longjing tea plantation & village. He was very informative and could tell us all about an area's history and current events. The fast train ride from Shanghai to Suzhou was a great experience as well. Highly enjoyed it.

We had a brilliant day with Tommy visiting Hangzhou. Our journey started being picked up at our hotel in Shanghai for a quick trip to the train station. We hadn't had breakfast yet so Tommy helped us chose some typical morning options to eat while we were waiting for the train to depart. For starters, taking the bullet train was half the fun, watching the countryside flash by at high speeds and allowing for more time in Hangzhou. Highlights of the trip were viewing the lovely tea fields and tea tasting outside of town, visiting the private ancient garen and walking along the famous and beautiful West Lake at sunset. As a private tour, I was able to customize to trip to fit my timing and interests so we were able to spend more time at the temple. Tommy speaks excellent english, he was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much wonderful history of the sites we visited and the city. The quality and value for money of our tour can only be described as excellent and we would have no problem recommending Shanghai Private Tour and Hangzhou to any interested travel to China.
