Day 1

Your first destination is The Bund: For many years, the bund is the face of Shanghai. On the Bund is group of building known as "A Gallery of World Architecture" of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. These buildings were built respectively during the 20s and 40s of the 20th century with different architectural styles but were well harmonized. The buildings are all decorated with floodlights. At night, the Bund is brightly lit, glittering and dazzling to the eye. It is the symbol and mark of Shanghai. The Bund is also an epitome of Shanghai's history. Dating back to the time from the 1840's to the 1930's, many foreign businesses snatched the prime area in Shanghai, namely the Bund, to establish concessions, banks, headquarters, consul houses and so on. Hence, Shanghai, a small seaside town one hundred years ago, became the largest city in Asia. It also earned the reputation of "The Oriental Wall Street". Even today, visitors can still feel the prosperity of the old Shanghai, when looking at those old buildings at the bund.

Then, head to the Duolun Road, "Find the last 100 years of Shanghai history on Duo Lun Road" is a saying among local Shanghai people. Duo Lun Road is a very short and small road. The whole length is only 550 meters but it definitely takes a long time to walk the whole street. Duo Lun Road had been a famous road in the beginning of last century when China was seeing the greatest changes that had happened in the last two thousand years.

Along the Duolun Road, the guide will bring you deep into the Home Quarter Lanes, where you will find more locals life vitality. 

If time is permit, the guide will take you to the Food Market, where you can see the most real side of the Chinese people. In addition, the tour guide will take you to visit the nearby Mahjong Room, and you will have the opportunity to watch and learn the mahjong, the quintessence of China. Mahjong has always been the mainstream leisure way in Shanghai.

In the afternoon, continue your tour to Yuyuan Garden, it not only regarded as best private garden in Shanghai but also the best in southeast China.The garden enjoyed a history over 400 years since its first establishment by Pan Yunduan who had intended to bring happiness and pleasure to his parents and relatives.

The last stop is Shanghai Old Street, historically called Miaoqian Dajie, is an old business street that has a combination of tourist attractions, shops, entertainment and cultural exhibits. It owes its special social attractions and rich commercial background to the fact that the earliest bank, gold shop, jeweler's store, wine shop and tea house of the city were all to be found here. 

Drive you back to your hotel in Shanghai.

Day 2

After breakfast, drive you to the Shanghai Tower, Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in Shanghai, Designed by the renowned Gensler from the American in a shape of a spiral Chinese dragon, which means the gradual economic prosperity of China.It has been attracting numerous people to feel the height, modern feature, especially to take the world’s fastest elevator to the 546m high floor that you can appreciate the fantastic sightseeing of the large area of Shanghai downtown and feel standing in the sky.

Then, head to the Shanghai Confucian Temple, Shanghai Confucian Temple is the only ancient architectural complex in downtown Shanghai, which is in memory of China’s outstanding thinker, educator, and originator of Confucius culture, Confucius. Confucius established schools teaching his remarkable Confucius culture which had positive effect on philosophy, politics, ethics, education and politics. Confucius’ theory made great contribution to ancient China’s development of culture and civilization.

Your lunch will be arranged at the local restaurant popular with the local people to stay away from the tourists' meals.

In the afternoon, head to Trames Town. Thames Town is a “knock-off” British town located in a district called Songjiang, a suburb of Shanghai. Although many tourists visit China for an authentic Chinese experience, this British town is a very interesting alternative excursion to the typical Shanghai sights. Pay a visit to Thames Town is sure to be an odd and interesting adventure.  Most of the buildings are vacant, with empty windows. The architectural style is British, but there is something off about the buildings. They all are facades with no real depth. Thames Town is one of the towns created as part of the "One City, Nine Towns" initiative. There is also a Canadian town, Italian town, German town, Dutch town, and a Swedish town. Let us not forget the knock-off Paris, complete with a replica Eiffel Tower.

After that, drive you to downtown area for dinner. And you'll head to Shanghai Circus World to see the Acrobatic Show, upon arrival, your guide will lead you to the designated comfortable seat. You will see the following wonderful circus show: "ERA", one of the most popular evening in Shanghai, The Mirror Mirage, The Happy Circus.

Drive you back to your hotel or Shanghai train station when the show is finished.
