The original show staged in London's West End will come to Shanghai with its star-studded line-up and more attractive dancing, choreography, costumes and props. More than 250 sets of luxury costumes and more ingeniously designed wigs will portray more than 30 cats with different character. Charming dancing will have the audience blown away. It's been an introduction to musical for the Chinese audiences. In 2003 and 2008, it was performed twice in China, and tickets were hard to come by. Now, after 10 years, the original version of the world's classic musical will be staged in China again.
Plot
"Jellicle" cats join for a Jellicle ball where they rejoice with their leader, Old Deuteronomy. All cats show up, hoping to be chosen to go to the "Heavyside Layer" and be reborn. The cats introduce themselves with charming singing and dancing, leaving many beautiful moments.
