Day 1 Shanghai

Pick up service will be arranged at your hotel in Shanghai (based on your requirement) with a welcome sign "Your Way HOliday". Your exciting tour start!

Firstly, we will visit Yuyuan Garden, the largest ancient garden in Shanghai, showcasing Ming and Qing architectural styles with its beautiful pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges, and rockeries. The garden, completed in 1577 by Ming Dynasty government officer Pan Yunduan, is the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai, covering a total area of 20,000 square meters. Although it occupies less than five acres, Yuyuan Garden perfectly demonstrates the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature. It ingeniously mingles pavilions and corridors, small hills and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, bridges, winding paths, and trees and shrubs. Next, we will visit The Bund, a waterfront area in central Shanghai. Located in the eastern part of Huangpu District, The Bund centers on a section of Zhongshan Road, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, facing the towering, modern skyscrapers of Pudong. Traditionally, The Bund begins at Yan'an Road in the south and ends at Waibaidu Bridge in the north. Here, you can embrace the best cityscape, feast on the rich architectural styles (Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Renaissance, Classic, and mixed Eastern and Western styles), and understand why Shanghai is glorified as the "Paris of the East." The area boasts numerous attractions, such as the Shanghai World Financial Center, The Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Century Park, Century Boulevard, and Jinmao Tower. As one of the most famous tourist destinations in Shanghai, The Bund offers a perfect blend of history and modernity. After lunch, continue the tour to the Shanghai Museum, located on People's Square in the Huangpu District. Founded in 1952 and initially housed in the former Shanghai Racecourse clubhouse, the museum moved to its current location at 325 West Nanjing Road in 1996. It is now considered one of China's first world-class modern museums. The Shanghai Museum boasts a collection of over 120,000 pieces, including bronze, ceramics, calligraphy, furniture, jade, ancient coins, paintings, seals, sculptures, minority art, and foreign art. In the late afternoon, head to Nanjing Road. Spanning 5.5 kilometers, Nanjing Road is renowned as China's premier commercial center. It holds the distinction of being Shanghai's earliest commercial street since the city opened to the outside world. Lined with over 360 malls, department stores, specialty shops, restaurants, and cultural and recreational facilities, Nanjing Road attracts more than 1.5 million customers daily. By day, the street is bustling with visitors, and by night, the vibrant neon lights add to its allure. The last stop is the Jade Buddha Temple, also known as the Shanghai Yufo Temple, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Shanghai. Founded in 1882 by Abbot Hui Gen during the reign of Emperor Guang Xu (1875-1908) of the Qing Dynasty, the temple was rebuilt after being burned down during the 1911 revolution. The temple is named after the original two white jade Buddha statues that Abbot Hui Gen brought with him from Burma—a sitting statue about 1.95 meters (almost 6 1/2 feet) in height and a smaller reclining Buddha. Day 2 Shanghai-Xian

After breakfast, we will drive to the Lujiazui Area of Pudong New District to visit “the Eye of Shanghai” – the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC). Your skyward journey begins at the Sky Gate, where you will be treated to a visual feast showcasing the rapid transformation of Shanghai and the history of the Huangpu River through advanced multimedia displays and the world's most realistic miniature city model. Our guide will provide fascinating insights into the architectural marvels of the SWFC and the significant milestones in Shanghai’s development, ensuring an enriching experience.

Later, enjoy a boat cruise on the Huangpu River. As you sail down the river, you can take in the beautiful scenery on both sides, including sights such as the Yangpu Bridge, the Nanpu Bridge, and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The contrast between the varied Western architecture on the west bank and the towering modern buildings on the east bank enhances the river's beauty and magnificence. Originally a renovated residential area in the French Concession of Shanghai, Tianzifang now offers a delightful maze of alleyways off Taikang Road, earning it the nickname "Taikang Road" or "Taikang Lu". Known for its eclectic mix of small craft stores, cozy coffee shops, avant-garde art studios, and charming narrow alleys, Tianzifang has emerged as a must-visit destination for tourists in Shanghai. It serves as a prime example of the preservation of local Shikumen architecture, reminiscent of Xintiandi but with its own unique charm. At last, you will be transferred to Shanghai airport and you'll fly to Xian. Upon arrival, your Xian local guide will meet you at the exit of the airport with a welcome signage "Your Way Holiday". You'll be escorted to your hotel and have a rest.

Day 3 Xian-Shanghai

Today, meet your guide in the hotel lobby to kick off your tour with a visit to the Terracotta Warriors. Known as "the Eighth Wonder of the World," this museum showcases an astonishingly high level of sculpture that is considered one of the most significant discoveries of the 20th century. To date, a total of 179 accompanying burial pits of different connotations and shapes have been discovered in the Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum area. These pits provide invaluable insights into the burial system, structures, and characteristics of the mausoleum. Remarkably, none of the discovered burial pits have survived without being burnt down, adding to the mystery and allure of this archaeological site. After lunch, we'll drive you back to downtown Xian to continue your visit at the Ancient City Wall. Originally built as a military defense system, the Ancient City Wall is one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved city walls in China. After the tour is finished, transfer you to the airport and you return to Shanghai. Your Shanghai driver will take you to your hotel in Shanghai (based on your requirement) once you arrived.
