Day 1 Shanghai Arrival

Make your own flight arrangement to Shanghai. Once you arrive, our guide and driver will meet you at the exit of airport and transfer to your Shanghai hotel. The rest day is free on your own to explore the city.

Day 2 Shanghai

After breakfast, starts your Shanghai tour with Yuyuan Garden. It was a private garden of the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. It was the largest and most prestigious of its era in Shanghai after it was completed. The garden is unique in its design. It perfectly blends decorative halls, elaborate pavilions, glittering pools, zigzag bridges, pagodas, archways, and impressive rockeries.

Next, you will visit Jade Buddha Temple, it is an active buddhist temple in the city of Shanghai. The temple houses two jade Buddha statues – one, a 1.95 m tall, sitting Buddha and the other a smaller reclining Buddha depicting Buddha’s death. If you interested in the architecture and the custom of temple, do not miss Jade Buddha Temple in Shanghai.

After lunch, drive you to visit Old French Concession, a residential area of Shanghai once designated for the French, the French Concession is popular with tourists and expats, and appreciated for its cafes, tree-lined avenues, and tudor houses.If you want to get away from busy street in Shanghai, here is an ideal place to explore.

Then, you will visit the famous The Bund area, it is a nice place to appreciate the skyline of the city. You see some of the famous landmarks of shanghai such as the pearl tower, jinmao tower and the shanghai tower.For a century, the Bund has been one of the most recognizable symbols and the pride of Shanghai. The architecture along the Bund is a living museum of the colonial history of the 1800s.

At night, it's a good time to have a cruise to experience and enjoy the scenery along Huangpu River. A Huangpu River cruise has now become a must-have activity when visiting Shanghai. If you have time to join a Huangpu River night cruise, you can enjoy the most extraordinary night view.

After the cruise, drive you back to your hotel.

Day 3 Shanghai

After breakfast, drive about 1 hour to explore Zhujiajiao Water Town. Zhujiajiao, it is one of famous six water towns around Shanghai. It's the best-preserved water town in the area with history over 1700 years. There are old bridges, antiquated architecture and bubbling streams. You can wander along the canal, stroll around the old lanes, visit few houses with gardens. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat riding on the canal to see beautiful surrounding. Don't miss out the opportunity to take some fabulous pictures.

Free on your own to stay in the town, drive you back to your Shanghai hotel at a suitable time.

Day 4 Shanghai

Free on your own to explore Shanghai city. (You can do some shopping or ask some recommendation from our experienced tour guide)

Day 5 Shanghai-Chengdu

Free on your own until transfer to Shanghai airport to catch your flight to Chengdu. Once you arrive, our guide will meet you at the exit of Chengdu airport. Transfer to your hotel in Chengdu.

You will have the Sichuan Opera Show in the evening. You can appreciate an authentic Face Changing performance on spot, how excited it is! (The admission for the show is excluded.) The Sichuan Opera is an important part of Chengdu culture. Besides the normal singing, and martial arts, Sichuan Opera has many unique features that set it apart, features such as fire breathing, changing faces, and juggling pottery. When enjoying the performance, you will amaze at different facial make-ups that are changed fast and mysteriously. 

After the opera performance, drive you back to your hotel in Chengdu.

Day 6 Chengdu

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. Torrential rainstorms had constantly plagued Dujiangyan in summer until the Irrigation System was constructed in 256 BC. Its successful control of water without dams has contributed greatly to the land for more than 2,200 years, making it a great marvel of water conservancy in the world. 

Nexy, drive about 1.5 hours to Wolong National Nature Reserve to visit the Giant Panda. Upon arrival,you will have a short hiking in Dengsheng Gorge after lunch,this area is many endangered wild giant pandas inhabit. Enjoy a delightful hike through the unspoiled beauties of lush woodlands and murmuring streams, and if you are lucky enough, you might be able to find the panda's wastes and footprints. Get your cameras ready to capture the enchanting view and traces of giant pandas along the way.

You will visit the Wolong Giant Panda Musuem to learn about Giant Pandas, the living environments, development, habits to breeding and achievements of panda protection.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel.

Day 7 Chengdu

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the Panda Research Center to experience the work of Panda Keeper. You will have a whole day with pandas. Upon arrival, our guide and staff will show around the research center and introduce the important thing as a panda keeper. After that, start working as a Panda Keeper including cleaning the enclosures, replacing dried bamboos with fresh ones, making your own panda cakes and hand feeding pandas under the guidance of the professional giant panda keeper. If you want to learn more about the Giant Pandas,how to protect and take care of them, you can enjoy the documentary about the Giant Panda as well. It's a unforgettable experience in your life, you also get an honorable panda keeper certificate to memorize your special time with them after your work.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel in Chengdu.

Day 8 Chengdu

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit Remin Park, there is no better place to explore and discover the daily life of Chinese people than at the People’s Park in Chengdu.It serves as a place where locals come to relax and make new friends.While walking through the park, you will see people playing Mahjong, singing and even exercising.

Then, you will visit Wenshu Temple. It is the best-preserved temple in Chengdu and it was built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). Here you can find works of art created by famous Chinese painters and calligraphers. However, the most important relic here at the temple is a piece of Xuan Zang’s skull who was a famous monk during the Tang Dynasty.

Next, you will explore the Kuan Zhai Alley.  It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Chengdu.Here you will find traditional Chinese restaurants with beautiful gardens, souvenirs shops, art shops and delicious street food. These alleys are quite similar to the Jinli Street.

During the tour, our guide will take you to local teahouse for the afternoon tea time. Drinking tea is a central part of Chinese people’s lives and culture together with playing Mahjong. Chengdu is one of the biggest tea producing regions in China so visiting this city without trying the tea is a blasphemy.If you want an authentic experience, our guide will try finding a tea house near riverbanks or in the parks of Chengdu. 

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel in Chengdu.

Day 9 Chengdu Departure

Free on your own until transfer to Chengdu airport for your flight back home.
